Jay Dowhaniuk, which is pronounced "Dow-han-e-uk" (don't worry, even Ukrainians pronounce it wrong!), is a wealth manager at Raymond James. Jay's clients value his personable approach and unique skill of explaining complex financial concepts in a way that is understandable.
A graduate from the Okanagan School of Business with a BBA degree majoring in finance, Jay started his career at a major bank but soon joined Raymond James in 2005. Jay has earned the prestigious Chartered Investment Manager (CIM®) and Fellow of CSI (FCSI®) designations.
It's important for Jay to be active in the local community and support local charities like the Kelowna Women's Shelter and Salvation Army. He is also a big supporter of helping underprivileged youth through www.ElevationOutdoors.ca. Jay is also an avid cyclist who combines his passion for cycling and philanthropy by participating in the Tour de Cure benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation. When Jay is not in the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Brianne, daughter Charley and son Tucker, and when he isn't biking, Jay enjoys boating, camping, and snowboarding at Big White.
